Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your child’s education as well as get to know the staff and other parents and carers.
Research shows that children benefit when their parents or carers are actively involved in their education and school life.
You can help by:
- listening to children read in the classroom
- volunteering on sports days
- helping supervise excursions
- getting involved in fundraising activities
- joining school committees.
The Department of Education's Working with Children Check (WWCC) requires the school to collect Declaration of Child-Related Workers and sight original photo ID. The Declaration of Child-Related Workers is available from the office or can be dowloaded below. When completed, please take the form to the office with original ID.
When volunteering at school, please QR in and out at the front office. This is important in the event of evacuation. A visitors pass will be provided for you to display while on site.
